According to Buddhist tradition, Siddhartha Gautama meditated under a Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, for 49 days until he achieved enlightenment. During this time, he faced many temptations and distractions but remained steadfast, ultimately attaining Nirvana and becoming the Buddha.
